Ortholite® Comfort Foam: Step into Unmatched Comfort
The 5.11® A/T Series is built with Ortholite® Comfort Foam, a high rebound open-cell polyurethane foam that offers long-term cushioning and energy return. This lightweight and breathable material ensures moisture management, keeping your feet cooler and drier during extended use.
At the heart of the 5.11® A/T Series is the A.T.L.A.S. Technology Plate. This dual-density post-recycled polypropylene plate provides structural and torsional stability, especially under heavy loads and during extended use. The technology plate is not included in the Trainer model but can be added for the same structure as the 8" and Mid Boots.
Enhancing the underfoot experience, the 5.11® A/T Series features Echo Foam, a polyurethane-based energy return foam that provides enhanced propulsion, responsiveness, and cushioning during movement. Additionally, Force Foam, another polyurethane-based dampening foam, offers impact cushioning to absorb heavy impacts as your carry weight increases.
The 5.11® A/T Series footwear also incorporates TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) welding, which reduces bulk and friction by welding the material together rather than using traditional layering and stitching methods. This alternates with mesh for breathability and adds support and structure to the footwear.
Lastly, the 5.11® A/T Series utilizes Echo-lite Foam, a CMEVA-based energy return foam that offers underfoot cushioning and responsiveness in a lightweight package. This allows the trainer to flex and move with your workout, ensuring maximum agility and comfort.
The 5.11® A/T Series is available in two models: the 8" Side-Zip Boot and the Mid Boot. Both are designed to provide superior support, performance, and comfort for individuals who demand the best in advanced footwear technology.
